Grade 5 Math Audit Program — Full Program Description

The Grade 5 Math Audit Program at Big Brain Math Academy is an affordable supplemental learning option designed for homeschool families seeking structured math instruction without the cost of full enrollment.

This program allows students to observe and follow along with the complete Grade 5 curriculum in a seminar-style online environment while learning independently at home.

The Audit Program is ideal for:

• independent learners
• families supplementing another curriculum
• students who need additional math exposure
• families who want to experience the program before upgrading to full enrollment

Students receive access to live online classes, guided instruction, selected lesson materials, and limited participation in interactive review activities throughout the school year.

📘 What Students Will Learn

Students gain exposure to key Grade 5 concepts including:

• multi-digit multiplication and division
• operations with fractions
• decimals to the thousandths place
• volume and measurement
• geometry concepts
• interpreting graphs and data

🔄 Instructional Approach

This program uses a flipped classroom model.

Before Class

Students watch a short lesson video introducing the concept.

During Class

Students observe:

• Each class is 50 minutes
• Program runs from August through May

💡 Families who upgrade to full enrollment within 30 days may apply the $99 audit fee toward tuition.
